GROEI is een concert, theatervoorstelling en levende installatie.
In coproductie met Veenfabriek creëert Susies Haarlok een meeslepende audiovisuele trip.
Samen met actrice Ruta van Hoof laten de vier muzikanten/performers Harald Austbø, Tjalling Schrik, Wessel Schrik en Arthur Wagenaar in een vijftal hoofdstukken allerlei aspecten van groei zien, horen en voelen. Van evolutie tot economie, van de Cambrische explosie tot het posthumanisme. Dit alles in een high- èn lowtech-installatie van John van Oostrum, die gedurende de voorstelling groeit tot een betoverend en imposant levend wezen.
