NACHTFILTER is een samenwerkingsverband tussen dichter en performer Jan Damstra en Paul Janszen. Het project is in mei 2016 van start gegaan, met gedichten organisch voorzien van een soundscape. In de loop van het proces hebben gastmuzikanten meegedaan waaronder Otto Janszen. Otto en Paul waren beide actief in de Amsterdamse band Coka.

'Dat ik een schreeuwer was' is de eerste uiting en concrete resultaat van deze samenwerking. Ook voor Jan Damstra is het de eerste tastbare uiting, hij schrijft al 45 jaar gedichten en is performer vanaf 1980 en voornamelijk actief in het undergroundcircuit. Jan Damstra is van 1957.
